Cultural Content on the Move: workshop with Blast Theory
Virtueel Platform is the Netherlands sector institute for electronic media. Virtueel Platform is a DISH conference partner and has invited Matt Adams of the internationally renowned group Blast Theory (www.blasttheory.co.uk/ www.mrl.nott.ac.uk, www.mrl.nott.ac.uk) to run a workshop.
Matt Adams will focus insights on projects of Blast Theory and their relevance to the heritage field. Recent projects of the group include new uses of GPS technology for non-commercial content in the public space using existing technologies for new purposes. In addition the workshop offers participants the opportunity to develop their thoughts on new ways to connect their cultural content with new (mobile) technologies.
