1. When can I register for the preconference?   
The registration for the preconference begins 1 October 2009.


2. Up until what date can I register?

Registration is possible until 1 December. Following this date, registration will be possible only on the day itself, if there is sufficient capacity. Administration costs of € 15 will be charged on top of the conference charges.


3. Up to which period can I cancel in advance?

It is not possible to cancel free of charge. Up to 1 November 2009, € 50 will be charged if you cancel your conference registration. For cancellations between 1 November and 1 December, 50% of the price will be charged. It is no longer possible to cancel after 1 December.
 

4. I have not received an official invoice, how should I pay?
Should the confirmation e-mail not be sufficient for your accountant and you wish to receive an official invoice, you can send an e-mail to:  a.vanschagen@erfgoednederland.nl


5. Can I also pay using a credit card or iDEAL?

From 1 October, you can also pay using a credit card and iDEAL. Until then, payments will be made by means of an invoice.


6. I have an Early Bird discount, but I have yet to transfer money. Is my registration valid in that case?

No, your registration will not be valid until money has been transferred. If you pay after 1 October, you can no longer enjoy the Early Bird discount, even if you registered before 1 October.


7. Can I transfer my participation confirmation to someone else?

Unless stipulated otherwise, a conference participation confirmation may be transferred to someone else, provided that the participant passes on the complete details of the other person to the Netherlands Institute for Heritage at least two days prior to the conference.


8. Is the working language of the conference English or Dutch?
The working language of the conference is English.


9. How can I find a hotel and reserve a room?

More than 60 proposals!

The Call for Proposals has been closed since the 15th of June. We have received almost 70 proposals! The Programme Committee is now reviewing them and they will make a first selection before the 15th of July. We will let the participants know as soon as possible and hope to present the programme later this month.

We invite you to participate in DISH 2009

You are invited to participate in the new bi-annual International conference on Digital Strategies for Heritage (DISH 2009) that will take place in De Doelen, Rotterdam, the Netherlands from December 8th-10th, 2009. A part of the program will provide paper presentations and workshops in parallel sessions. Authors are invited to submit proposals.
